1.INFORMATION ABOUT Kareer Cloud s.r.o.
1.1. This Personal Data Processing Policy has been adopted by Kareer Cloud s.r.o.,
Company ID No.: 06980023, with its registered office at Rybná 716/24, Staré Město,
110 00 Prague 1,Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the
Municipal Court in Prague under the file No. C 292472 (the “Kareer“).
1.2. This Policy regulates the principles of the processing of personal data of all users
of the website www.kareer.ai (the“User“) and the contact persons of the
customers that place job offers on this website (the“Customer“).
1.3 Only an individual who is at least 15 years old and has finished the compulsory
school attendance is allowed to become a User.
1.4. Kareer is considered as the controller of the processing of personal data that:
• You fill in when creating and administrating the User profile or Customer profile,
• Will be generated by Kareer (e.g. soft skills test results or career prognoses), or
• Will be received from the Customers (e.g. history of job offers or references on
the Users’ reliability) or from other sources (e.g. publicly available information
which might be relevant for the selection procedure).
In this Personal Data Processing Policy (the “Policy”), there is an overview of the
main aspects related to the personal data protection, so you can always find
information on how we process your personal data, how we protect this data and also
what are your rights arising from the relevant legislation, particularly from the General
Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (the "GDPR").
2.WHICH PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS?
2.1. Within the sense of the GDPR, personal data is generally all data which identifies
you as an identified or identifiable natural person or data related to such natural
person.
Users
We process particularly personal data which you provide us with in the course of
registration on the website www.kareer.ai (the“Platform“) or later on, or personal
data which will be generated by Kareer, or provided by a third person for the purpose
of creation and development of your profile on the Platform, or provided when using
the community platform (discussion forum) designed for sharing and exchange of
information related to the job opportunities or to use of other services and
programmes provided by Kareer (e.g. education services or motivation programmes).
Mostly it will be name, surname, username, password, user pseudonym (for pre-
selection by Customers), academic title, year of study, study field, university, contact
details (particularly your address, e-mail, telephone number), date of birth, nationality,
photography, information on your academic and professional experience, attained
education, language skills, trainings and certificates, hobbies and personal interests,
soft and hard skills (including test results), job preferences, link to a LinkedIn profile,
further relevant details from your CV, your opinions and communication with other
Users, career prognoses, participation in motivation programmes including the
compensation obtained, use of other services provided by Kareer through the
Platform, job offers history, and the User’s reliability references.
For registration, using the Platform and applying for job offers, the following personal
data is necessary to process: name, surname, email, telephone number, username
and password. Providing other personal data is not obligatory and its extent depends
on the further use of the Platform by the User or Customer.
We process your personal data based on your consent granted while registering on
the Platform. This consent may be revoked anytime (by means of cancellation of the
User’s account or through partial revocation of the consent, e.g. regarding the
processing of your Platform references).
Customers (contact persons)
Kareer processes following personal data of the Customers’ representatives:
• Title, name, surname
• Telephone number, e-mail
• Company name which you represent
• Your work position or function
Kareer is entitled to process your personal data without your consent as the
processing is necessary for legitimate interest of the controller and the Customer
(business communication). This personal data processing is therefore necessary for
business cooperation with the Customer.
Further processing
If you decide to give us a reference, we can process your personal data in a limited
extent (name, surname, photography, job title and employer) through publishing the
reference on the Platform and for the purpose of the Platform presentation.
For better advertisement targeting and website improvement, Kareer uses
information about the job offers you look at, companies or job offers, to which you
respond, and other activity on the website, e.g. passing knowledge tests. This
personal data is received automatically via Kareer tool on the basis of your consent.
If you allow cookies storage in your device, this personal data is obtained by means
of cookie files. More information about cookies used by Kareer and cookie setting
can be found on the Platform. Under certain circumstances, Kareer may use your
contact details for sending its own or third parties’ commercial communication (e.g.
newsletters or invitations).
If you have the relevant function active, Kareer can use so-called push notifications.
Information about the device you are using is used for this purpose. These
notifications are displayed based on your consent granted after displaying the
relevant notification on the website interface.
You can also share personal data with us to a limited extent as part of the interaction
on social media, most often by connecting your social media account to ours within
the given social media or by logging in to the Platform via the social media. In this
case, we may process your contact details.
We can also process your contact details if you contact us in another online or offline
way (e.g. sending an email, handing over a business card, personal meetings at
networking events).
3. HOW DO WE USE PERSONAL DATA?
3.1. Kareer always uses personal data exclusively for the purposes for which it was
collected. However, this does not apply if you give your consent to further processing,
or if Kareer is required to do so by law or if further processing is necessary to protect
the legitimate interests of Kareer or a third party.
Users
Kareer processes your personal data for the following purposes:
• Setting up and administration of a user profile
• Enabling Users to apply for job offers, including the provision of counselling and
information support (e.g. offers of further education or qualifications, provision of
educational counselling, skills or testing). As part of this processing, based on
your consent, your personal data is transferred to a Customer as the controller
that is responsible for the further processing of your personal data within the
recruitment procedure. You can grant the Customers with consent to the
processing of your personal data for the purpose of future recruitment procedures.
Customers (contact persons)
Kareer processes your personal data for the following purposes:
• Customer’s registration in the Platform and use of the Platform for publishing job
offers
• Identifying the right user for the Customer
• Invoicing
• Business communication within the framework of ongoing cooperation
• Fulfilment of all rights and obligations arising from the contract concluded
between Kareer and the Customer (e.g. complaints, recovery of due payments)
Further processing
• Sending commercial communication (e.g. newsletters and other news) by Kareer.
Kareer is entitled to send you its own business message unless you have refused
itduring the registration. If you have given your consent to the sending of any
commercial communication during the registration, Kareer is entitled to send the
Customers’ commercial communication to you as well.
• Push notifications
• Targeting advertising campaigns and improving the Kareer website
• References on the website
Further processing of personal data beyond the above-stated purposes is
performed by Kareer only if it is necessary to fulfil legal obligations (e.g. during
inspections by state authorities) or to protect the legitimate interests of the
controller or a third party (e.g. in litigation).
4. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT AND CANCELLATION OF SENDING OF
COMMERCIAL COMMUNICATION
4.1. Commercial communication. Users can unsubscribe from receiving of
commercial communications at any time by:
• by clicking on the appropriate link located at the footer of each commercial
message,
• in the User profile settings, or
• using the contacts listed in this Policy.
4.2. Targeted Advertising (cookies). If you want to disable the storage of cookies in
your device, you can change the settings directly in your browser. If you disable the
storage of selected cookies, some parts of the website may not work properly.
4.3. Push notifications. Push notifications can be disabled in your browser settings.
4.4. References. Consent to the publication of personal data in references on the
website can be revoked at any time through the contacts specified in this Policy.
4.5 User profile cancellation. Consent to the processing of personal data within the
Platform may be revoked by cancelling the profile on the Platform or by sending a
revocation of consent through the contacts specified in this Policy.
4.6. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the current processing of
personal data based on the granted consent.
5. WHO HAS ACCESS TO THE PERSONAL DATA?
5.1. In the first place, personal data is processed by authorised employees or co-
workers of Kareer. All persons in Kareer who work with personal data are bound by
confidentiality.
5.2. Users' personal data is passed on to the Customers according to their choice or
the User’s response. Until the consent of both the User and the Customer is
confirmed, only pseudonymized data is made available to the Customer (without
disclosing the identification data). Only if both parties are interested in arranging the
contact, the Customer will get access to all the data in the User’s profile.
5.3. Personal data of the Customer’s contact persons are accessible to Users via the
Customer's profiles.
5.4. Kareer can also use processors for the processing of personal data. These
entities may process personal data only for the purposes and in the manner
determined by Kareer and may not disseminate it without further consent. We only
provide processors with the data they need to provide their services. Kareer uses as
a processor mainly:
• TCC online s.r.o. (Company ID No.: 24141089, registered office at Rohanské
nábřeží 671/15, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8) (processing and evaluation of on-line soft
skills tests)
• Google LLC (registered office at 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA
94043 USA) (web analytics and online marketing tools);
• Facebook Ireland Ltd. (registered office at 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin, Republic
of Ireland) (online marketing tools);
• Seznam.cz, a.s. (Company ID No.: 26168685, registered office in Prague 5 -
Smíchov, Radlická 3294/10, postal code 15000) (tools for online marketing);
• The Rocket Science Group, LLC d / b / a MailChimp, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE,
Suite 500, Atlanta, Georgia 30308 (online marketing tools).
6. HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?
6.1. Kareer processes personal data of the Users until the cancellation of their profile.
Data on the Customer’s contact persons are processed for the entire duration of the
business relationship or until the Customer updates the data.
6.2. The data processed within making available of a specific offer to the User or
specific Users to the Customer and the subsequent selection procedure are stored
until the relevant job vacancy is filled. This period may be longer than the validity of
the Customer's job offer published on the Platform. If you give the consent, your data
can be kept in case a similar position is opened, for a period of 3 years.
6.3. In all cases, commercial communications are sent only until you revoke the
relevant consent or until you unsubscribe.
6.4. The data obtained for marketing purposes are processed for the entire duration
of your consent, i.e. also for the period when you allow the storage of cookies within
the cookie settings in your browser. Processing may take place even after the
withdrawal of consent, until the expiration of the relevant type of cookies at the latest.
6.5. The time of processing of personal data obtained for the publication of
references are agreed individually. Upon revocation of your consent, Kareer will no
longer process this data.
7. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
7.1. In connection with the processing of personal data, you can contact Kareer at
any time and request:
• Information about your personal data that Kareer processes.
• Access to your personal data, including the right to a copy of your personal data.
• Rectification of personal data if itis inaccurate or incomplete in any way.
• Erasure of personal data (so-called right to be forgotten) if it is no longer needed for
the stated purposes, or if Kareer has no legal reason to process personal data,
including cases where you do not agree with its further processing.
• Restriction of processing if you question the accuracy of the personal data being
processed or if you request to restrict the processing instead of erasing personal
data.
• Transmission of automatically processed personal data obtained based on your
consent from Kareer to another entity, whereby Kareer transfers your personal data
in a commonly used machine-readable format to you or another controller at your
request.
7.2. IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BASED ON THE LEGITIMATE
INTEREST OF THE CONTROLLER OR A THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING DIRECT
MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AGAINST SUCH
PROCESSING. IN THE EVENT OF PROCESSING DUE TO DIRECT MARKETING,
PROCESSING FOR THIS PURPOSE WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY. IN
OTHER CASES, PROCESSING WILL BE RESTRICTED UNTIL KAREER
DEMONSTRATES COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR PROCESSING
OVERRIDING THE INTERESTS AND RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS OR THAT IT
IS NECESSARY FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF
LEGAL CLAIMS OF KAREER.
7.3. You can submit all your applications through the contacts listed in this Policy. It is
always possible to contact directly Kareer CEO at peter@kareer.cloud. You can also
lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (Office for Personal Data
Protection) at any time in the event of a breach by Kareer.

703 490 527 with any comments regarding the processing of personal data or in the
event of exercising your rights. Your requests will be registered in the register of
requests and complaints for up to 3 years after the end of the relevant calendar year
due to possible inspections by the Office for Personal Data Protection.
9. EFFECTIVNESS
9.1. This Policy is effective as of 10 October 2019.
